Mrs. Thorpe was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joel Sackett, former residents of Nicholsville, in which village she was born. Surviving are her husband, two daughters, a son and several grandchildren. Burial was in Rosehill Cemetery, Nicholsville.
