Here is the info I have: David Perkins, Sr., born about 1729, died about 1782 (planter on Lynch's Creek near Camden, SC. Son: David Perkins, Jr. born 1750, died 1830, m 1) Miss Evans, 2) Bilzie Stringer Children: Achsia Perkins, b. 1800, d. 1869, m John Elam McCaskill. She diedin Macon, Noxubee Co.,MS Stringer Perkins, m. Harriette Perkins, dau. of James Perkins & Harriette Craig Calvin Perkins, m. Louise Blakeley Reese Perkins, b. 1810, d 1878, m. Mary Thompson. Died Noxubee Co., MS Mary Perkins, b. 1800, died 1884, m 1) Joshua Sanders, 2)John Henry Greer Bilzie Perkins

[email protected] David Perkins Richard PERKINS, born 1805-08 in VA, married Margaret COATES in Halifax Co., VA 15 Dec 1828. Moved to Hardeman Co., TN circa 1830, then toTippah Co., MS around 1840. Served in Confederacy with a MS unit. Died 17 Nov 1877, buried Union Cemetery, Tippah Co., MS. Margaret's parentswere William Coates and Mary (Polly) Crews of Halifax, VA. Margaret died 12 Sep 1867 and is also buried in Union Cemetery, Tippah Co., MS. Richard had at least six brothers, names unknown. He and Margaret had eight children, some born in VA, some in TN and some in MS. They were:William Henry, Mary Alice, Martha Jane, Margaret Virginia, John C., Sarah Ann, Robert D. and Thomas. Descendants of many of Richard and Margaret's children migrated to Texas. If anyone can connect Richard to his parents, or one or more siblings, I'll wash your car and carry out your garbage for a month. Maybe two.
