MOUNT OLIVE CEMETERY

This cemetery is located about 10 miles south of Gainesville and has been abandoned for many years.  From IH35 in Valley View, drive east on FM 922.  It is about a mile east of Pioneer Valley Gate on the south side on private property.   There is no fence and many of the graves are marked with sandstones.   Livestock were allowed to trample many of the stones.   Odessa Morrow Isbell surveyed the cemetery about 1978.
