L.Z., the two and a half year old son of Mr. and Mrs. L.Q. Carlisle, residing four miles east of the city, died of

 

diphtheria  Wednesday morning at 11:30 o’clock while being rushed to the city for anti-toxin serum.  The

 

mother and two sisters of the little fellow are very ill with pneumonia at the family home.

 

Funeral services were held at 3:30 Thursday afternoon at the Oak Grove cemetery, Rev. W.E. Moore, Baptist

 

Minister, conducting the services.  The body was prepared for burial at the Gibson Mortuary where it

 

  remained until this afternoon.
