HOLDREGE - Violet Irene Bose, 85, of Orleans died Monday, March 22, 2004, at Holdrege Memorial Homes.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Orleans Presbyterian Church with the Revs. William Bills and Dixon Powers officiating. Burial will be at Stamford Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home in Orleans.
She was born June 23, 1918, on the family farm southwest of Stamford in Furnas County to Herman and Gardie (Stroh) Ehrke.
On Oct. 28, 1945, she married Lawrence Bose in Norton, Kan.
Survivors include her sons, Lee, Royce and Craig, all of Orleans; daughter, Sonja Taylor of McKinney, Texas; brothers, Lawrence Ehrke and Lloyd Ehrke, both of Stamford; sister, Willa Ralston of Orleans; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
