Findlay Chapter, D.A.R . has in Lee Cemetery in Amanda Twp. grave markers for "mother" and "father" of Ray Beard (1894-1920) who is buried there. Inscriptions give birth dates for m other & father, but only deaths as "19__". Effie and John W. may be buried ther e, without death dates inscribed. They may not be buried there; the markers may have been placed in anticipation, at the time of Ray's death in 1920. Neither parent was a ripe old age in 1920.
