Andrew Leiper Crouch 5 (Richard 4, John 3, Richard 2, Richard 1) born February 22, 1822; died March 13, 1897 with burial in the Shockoe HIll Cemetery, Richmond City, VA.. Fought in the Mexican and Confederate Wars. [2]  Was a Civil War surgeon serving in General Joseph E. Johnston. In 1892 he lived at 513 E Broad St per the Richmond, VA City Directory- Vol. 1.

[10] Richmond, VA "Richmond Dispatch March 14, 1897. under DEATHS: Crouch- Died, in this city, Saturday, March 13th, at twenty minutes to 4 o'clock A.M. Andrew Leiper Crouch in the 76th year of his age.  He was a veteran of both the Mexican and Confederate wars.  Funeral from Lee Camp Hall Monday Afternoon at 4 o'clock.  His friends are respectfully invited to attend.
