Charles Richard Crouch 5 (Charles Richard 4, Richard 3, Richard 2, Richard 1) was born about in Sept 21, 1844 in Glasgow, Ky. Enlisted in 'M' Company 6th Kentucky Calvary on August 16, 1862, captured on September 21, 1863 at Chickamauga, Georgia, held at Richmond, Andersonville, and other prisons for nearly 17 months. Allegedly wounded in the leg and arm at Chickamauga. He was exchanged on April 1, 1865 and was discharged July 14, 1865 at Edgefield, TN. (suburb of Nashville, TN just east of downtown Nashville on the north side of the Cumberland River) with the rank of Sergeant. Pension application filed in Arkansas City, Ark March 29, 1884. He married Elizabeth Ann Falls on June 26, 1884 in Desha, Arkansas. She was 24 and was born circa 1860. Charles R. Crouch died November 23, 1919 and is buried in the Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas. Elizabeth Falls died December 22, 1888 at Arkansas City, Arkansas.

Lived at 302 Mc Milan Av., Nashville, Davidson County, TN.
2. Katharine Lydia Crouch 6 born January 23, 1888 in Arkansas City, AR. Death 13 September 1971 Denver, CO. Married William Walter Wasson born 19 August 1884 in Chrisman IL.
