Virginia Lee Crouch, Jr. 7 (James Jesup Crouch, Sr. 6, James Thomas Crouch 5, William Smith Crouch 4, Richard Crouch 3, John Crouch 2, Richard Crouch 1) was born at her parent's home on December 19, 1923 and died in Franklin, Williamson County, TN on December 25, 2014 (age 91). On February 9, 1945 Virginia Lee Crouch married James Autry McKee.  He was born on December 27, 1918 and died September 24, 1954 as the result of a hunting accident.  They met when they were students at Vanderbilt University.  He majoring in Engineering and she in Accounting.  He needed a math tutor and their relationship blossomed from there.  In her 40's she graduated from Columbia State College, in Columbia, TN. as a Registered Nurse (RN).

She was a member of West Main Church of Christ.  After losing her husband at an early age she lovingly raised three children as a single mother.  In her 40's she became a Registered Nurse and retired after 25 years from Williamson Medical Center.  After retirement she became a herbalist and an avid gardener.

Services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating.  Visitation two hours prior to the service.  Burial Mt. Hope Cemetery, family and friends as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made tot he J.L. Clay Senior Citizens Center or the Williamson Medical Foundation.
