Thomas W. Linebaugh & 1) Catherine Henry 2) Ann B Owings
Thomas W. Linebaugh was born October 10, 1787 in Green Castle,
Pennsylvania, the son of Daniel and Margaret
Linebaugh. He married 1) Catherine Henry on December 23, 1812 in
Russellville, Logan County, KY. [9] She was born February 21, 1792(related to
Patrick Henry), a native of Hanover County, North Carolina; 2) Ann B. Owings on
November 12, 1818. [9]
The children of Thomas Linebaugh and Catherine Henry were:
1. William Henry Linebaugh born September 30, 1813.

2. Margaret Catherine Linebaugh born December 23, 1815
[9] in Russelville, Kentucky.
Died in Robertson County, Tennessee on April 15, 1846. Married
Robert Brumfield
Mitchell. [9]
3. John Henry Linebaugh born February 23, 1817 [9];
died ______; married 1839 Mary Grey
After Catherine Henry died he married Ann B. Owings
on November
12, 1818 and settled near the border of Todd and Logan Counties, Kentucky. She
was born Jun 1800 in Kentucky. Thomas died after being thrown from his
horse coming home from Russelville, Kentucky on January 3, 1856, age 69 years.

1868 at the age of seventy three.
4. Thomas Joseph Linebaugh born January 12, 1823,
[9] in Logan
County, Kentucky; died Oct. 1, 1905 and buried in the Linebaugh Cemetery
District 1 on State Line Road, Guthrie, Todd County, Kentucky. He was raised on his father's farm; he continued to follow
farming until 1877, when he went to Guthrie and opened a drug store, which,
after running a few years, he sold out and engaged in the grocery and liquor
business. He married in 1847 Miss Mary Jane Reasons (or Reasoner?), of Montgomery county, Tennessee.
She was born Aug. 19, 1830 and died June 1, 1895.
They had one son. He was a member of the Board of Trustees, and owned a farm in
Montgomery County of 300 acres. [2]
5. Mary Elizabeth Linebaugh
born in Russelville, Logan County, Kentucky on June 4, 1825 [9]; died 1907; married Samuel Finley Mitchell.
6. Benjamin Edwards Linebaugh born June 21, 1830 [9] in Russellville, Logan County,
KY. Ben enlisted in 1861 and served four years in the Civil War in Company F,
11th Tennessee Infantry with the rank of 2nd corporal. Died November 18, 1901. He married Louisa Byrd Miles on
January 11, 1866. She was born March 4, 1844 in Robertson County, TN.

JO LINEBAUGH was born January 12, 1823, in Logan County, Ky.; he is the
son of Thomas and Ann (Owings) Linebaugh. The father was a native of
Pennsylvania; he died in 1854, aged seventy. The mother was born in
Maryland; she died in 1868, aged seventy-three. Our subject was raised
on his father's farm; he continued to follow farming until 1877, when
he came to Guthrie and opened a drug store, which, after running a few
years, he sold out and engaged in the grocery and liquor business, which
he still continues. Mr. Linebaugh was married in 1847 to Miss M. J.
Reasons, of Montgomery County, Tenn. One son has blessed this union.
Mr. Linebaugh is a member of the Board of Trustees; he owns a farm in
Montgomery County of 300 acres, well improved.
