Assumption Church records list baptismal records for Mary, William and John Quirk named above. Also listed are children for a Bartholomew Connelly and Christina [nee unknown]. I suspect this could be the Bartly Connally who married a Maggie Quirk in 1875.

When Thomas Quirk died Mary Quirk purchased Lot 159 in Section 9 of St. Joseph Cemetery for his burial. Thomas, Margaret Conly, Thomas Christopher, William are buried in this plot. Along with an unidentified Mary Quirk who died 4 November 1879 at aged 1y, 9m. Considering this her calculated date of birth would be 4 February 1878. So she could not be the child of Thomas and Margaret Quirk.

There is also a Bartley Conlely who marries an Emma Gibson Slade in 1883. I could find no death record for a Maggie Connally / Conley / Connley and found no divorce record either. They were divorced 9 October 1884 in Vanderburgh Co., IN.

A Canadian researcher found the baptismal records for the first two Quirk children. Copies on hand. Three others were baptized in Assumption Catholic Church in Evansville. Copies on hand. See Quirk Album. Baptismal records for the others may be held in church records in other counties in which the family lived.
