3d Cavalry-A private letter from a member of the3d Cavalry informs us
 that the regiment turned over its accouterments to the Government at Macon, Ga.,
 on July 18th, and reached Nashville, Tenn., en route for home on the 25th.
 The boys may be expected home about the 10th or 12rh,

   Third O.V.C.-The 3d Ohio Cavalry arrived at Columbus on Wednesday of last week
 for final muster out and discharge. A number of men in the regiment belong to this
 county, but up to this writing have not reached home. BRYAN DEMOCRAT August 17, 1865.
 
    
Third Cavalry   We clip the following complimentary notice from the Ohio Statesman:
 The 1st and 2d Battalion of the 3d Ohio Cavalry were paid at Tod l3arracks yesterday;
 the 3d Battalion will be paid of this morning. Since the 3d Cavalry has been at the
 barracks it has by the good conduct of the men won very general esteem. We heard the
 Steward remark at the Barracks incidentally, yesterday, that they were the most orderly
 and gentlemanly in their deportment of any organization that has rendezvoused at that point.
