    Born before Maria Eva was one other sibling, Josef (b. 14 Jan. 1826).

    She is listed in the family record with her parents and their 14 children.  This appears in the civil records of Altenschwand which is available on microfilm (LDS film #0957339, batch K969141). However, Maria lived to know only two of her siblings.

    Her father, and later brothers, owned the Hirschen Inn in Altenschwand, pictured below.

    Maria died on 17 June 1829 at only 1 year, 9 and a half months old.
