Amanda was born at
York Co., Pennsylvania, on 14 November 1856. She was the daughter of
Daniel Dellinger and
Eliza Greenawalt. Amanda Dellinger married

AMANDA HARTMAN,
AT HOME NEAR ROCKY
Rocky, May 1 - Mrs. Amanda Hartman, widow of Henry Hartman, died this morning at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ora Waltemyer, who reside near here in Chanceford township. Death was caused by complications. She was age 72 years, five months and 17 days. Surviving are six children: Mrs. Mary M. Kline, Harrisburg; John D. Marshall, Yoe; Mrs. Ora Waltemyer, with whom she lived; Mrs. William Behrenson, Red Lion, R.D. 3; Mrs. Milton Noller, and Charles W. Hartman, Red Lion; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, David Dellinger, Hallam R.D; Samuel Dellinger, Swamford, Snyder county, Pa; George Dellinger, Red Lion; and five sisters, Mrs. Anna Neff, York, R.D; Mrs. Louise Poff, of Wrightsville; Mrs. Charles Crumbling, Yorkana; Mrs. J.A. Spyker, Red Lion, and Miss Susan Dellinger, Yorkana.
The funeral will be held Saturday, with brief service at the house at 10 a.m. and concluding services at the Pleasant Grove United Brethren church, near here. Rev. M.B. Helland, pastor and Rev. J.A. Shettel, pastor of the Yoe United Brethren church, will be the officiating ministers. Interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church. Funeral Director Earl B. Burg, of the firm of Zarfos and Burg, Red Lion, has charge of the arrangements."
