Charles Dellinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Dellinger, 765 Midland avenue, and Miss Lydia Minnich, daughter of Mr. and Mirs. Franklin Minnich, Longstown, wee married last Saturday evening by Rev. D.R. Fair, pastor of the Springet United Brethren charge. The ring ceremony was performed at the pastor's residence, 928 North Duke street.
Vincent Sowers and Miss Mae Walker were the attendants. Mr. Dellinger presented his attendant with a neck tie set; and Miss Walker with a necklace. Mr. and Mrs. Dellinger are on a motor trip to Virginia, on their return they will be given a reception by the bridegroom's parents. Mr. Dellinger is an employe of the General Electric company."

York - Charles O. Dellinger, 88, of York, died at 5:05 a.m. Monday at Country Meadows of York. He was the husband of the late Lydia L. (Minnich) Dellinger.
A graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Mount Zion Cmetery, with military rites by York County Veterans Honor Guard. A memorial service at 11:15 a.m. Thursday at Bethany United Methodist Church, Mount Rose Avenue and Orontz Street. There will be no viewing. The Workinger-Semmel Funeral Home Inc. 849 E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Dellinger was born April 5, 1912, in Springettsbury Township. He was the son of the late Ernest O. and Myra (Kindig) Dellinger. He was the stepson of Maggie Dellinger of York.
He was a quality control inspector working at General Electric and Bendix, and retiriing from A.M.F. in 1977. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a life member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Kreutz Creek Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7045 and International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
Mr. Dellinger also is survived by a son, Marlin C. Dellinger of Churchville, Md; two granddaughters; a brother, Gerald Dellinger of York and a sister, Theda Dellinger of York.
Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. Dr. Ronald S. McElwee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, 1401 Mount Rose Ave., York 17403."
