Chester Elwood Dellinger was born circa 1909 at

Paul E. Dellinger and
Carrie Malverna Hannigan. He married
Violet Ruth Ferree at
Spry, York Co., Pennsylvania, on 7 June 1930. Chester Elwood Dellinger died on 2 August 1985 at

"Chester E. Dellinger
Chester E. Dellinger, 76, of 400 Edgehill Road, died at 5 a.m. Friday at York Hospital.
He was the husband of Violet Ferree Dellinger.
Mr. Dellinger was born in East Prospect, a son of the late Paul H. and Carrie Hannigan Dellinger.
He retired in 1980 after 31 years as the treasurer and tax collector Spring Garden Township.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Riverside Lodge 503 of Free and Accepted Masons, Harrisburg Consistory, York Commandry 21 Knights Templer, York Council 21 of the Royal and Select Masons, Howell Arch Chapter 199, York Forest No 30 of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Zembo Temple, York County Shrine Club, Turkey Buzzards and was a life member of the York County Agriculture Society.
Survivors include:
Four daughters - Nena D. McGill, 330 Villa Terrace; Anna Lee Burroughs, Charlotte, N.C; Beverly J. Braaanco, Lutherville, Md; and Tolly J. Leaman, 531 S. Vernon St.
Sixteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A brother - Paul H. Dellinger, Jr. Luray, Va.
The viewing is noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Baumeister and Orcutt Mortuary, South Queen and East Jackson streets.
His pastor, the Rev. Benjamin T. Griffin, will officiate at the funeral service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Members of his lodge will conduct masonic services at the graveside services at Mt. Rose Cemetery."
