George was born at
Florin, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, on 7 May 1915. He was the son of
George W. Dellinger and
Katie Trimmer. He married
Beulah I. Weigle in 1946. George died on 29 August 1999 at

George W. Dellinger, Jr., 84, of Manchester, died at 7:50 p.m. Sunday at Manor Care Health Services North. He was the husband of Beulah I. (Weigle) Dellinger, to whom he was married for 53 years.
The service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 4360 Board Road, Manchester. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. The William E. Little Funeral Home Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Dellinger was born May 7, 1915, in Florin, Lancaster County.
He was the son of the late George W. and Katie (Trimmer) Dellinger.
He retired from Northeastern School District after five years of service. Prior to that, he worked for Kathryn Beecher for 37 years.
He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, United Methodist Men, Manchester Athletic Association, Manchester Ambulance Club and Mount Wolf Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2493, and life member of Union Fire Company. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II.
Mr. Dellinger also is survived by a son, Alan R. Dellinger of Carlisle; a daughter, Marcia R. Dellinger of Manchester; a brother, Irvin Dellinger of York; and a sister, Naomi Sipe of York.
Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. Keith J. Schmuck.
