     Harry was born at York Co., Pennsylvania, in October 1876. He was the son of Adam S. Dellinger and Henrietta Gohn. He married Blanche Bosley at York, York Co., Pennsylvania, on 23 March 1902. Harry was listed as the head of a family on the 1910 Census at Wilkinsburg, Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania. He died in July 1918 at Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania, at age 41. He was New Tag Obituary from a 22 July 1918 newspaper:

"Harry O. Dellinger

A telegram was received here yesterday carrying the news of the death of Harry O. Dellinger, a railroader, at the Braddock hospital Pittsburgh. He was a former Yorker and has a brother and sister resided here - J.C. Dellinger, Elmwood and Mrs. John Kauffman, West York. He was fourty-two years old at the time of his death. The former Yorker had been injured in a railroad wreck six weeks ago yesterday and his death followed as a result of his injuries he received at the time. The funeral will be held tomorrow from his home in Pittsburgh, 710 Black Hawk street, with services at the house at 10 o'clock."

He was the son of Benjamin Franklin Dellinger and Susan Shepp. Harry Wallace Dellinger married Sadie Agnes Bahn, daughter of Franklin Bahn and Annie (?), on 4 June 1905 at York Co., Pennsylvania. Harry was listed as the head of a family on the 1920 Census at Springettsbury Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania. He was New Tag Obituary from a 29 Nov. 1933 York, Pennsylvania newspaper:

"HARRY W. DELLINGER PLEASUREVILLE, DIES

Pleasureville, Nov. 29. - Hary Walter Dellinger, died at 10:45 this morning at his home here, after a lingering illness from a complication of diseases. He is survived by his widow, Sadie Dellinger; the following children: Mrs. Franklin Stephenson, York, R.D. 5; Mrs. William Fengfish, York; Mrs. John Flury, at home; Miss Evelyn Dellinger, Miss Pauline Dellinger, Paul and Robert Dellinger, at home; his father, B.F. Dellinger; and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. H.M. Werner, Mrs. Ray Lauer, Morgan Dellinger, Mrs. R.A. Plowman and Mrs. Howard Bohn. Mr. Dellinger was in his 54th year.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, with brief services at the house at 1:30 p.m. following by further services in the Pleasureville United Brethren church. Interment will be made in Mt. Zion cemetery."

"DELLINGER - On November 29, 1933, at 10:40 p.m. Harry Walter Dellinger, husband of Sadie Dellinger, at his home, York, R.D. 6, age 53 years, 7 months and 21 days.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, December 2, with services at the house at 1:30 p.m. followed by concluding services at the Pleasureville United Brethren church. Interment in Mt. Zion cemetery."
On 29 November 1933 at York Co., Pennsylvania. He died on 29 November 1933 at Pleasureville, York Co., Pennsylvania, at age 55. He was buried on 2 December 1933 at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Springettsbury Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania.

WRIGHTSVILLE, Aug 15 - Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dellinger and children, Theresa, Mark, Philip and Paul and Mrs. Dellinger's mother, Mrs. Ruth Albright of Bedford, Tex., are spending their vacation in Wrightsville as the house guests of the former's mother, Mrs. Esther Dellinger, Locust street.

On Sunday afternoon they were the honored guest at a welcome home party in the form of a family gathering on the lawn at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Faircloth, Mulberry street. A picnic supper was served with the centerpiece a large decorated cake with the inscription welcome Texans.

     Hartley C. Dellinger was described as 175 pounds, 5 feet, 10 inches, bloodtype A, Brown hair, Hazel eyes. Hartley was born at Tipton, Tipton Co., Indiana, on 12 May 1918. He was the son of Shirley Blaine Dellinger and Rebecca Haycock Baynes. He was inducted into the military at Montgomery Co., Indiana, in 1935. He graduated from high school at Crawfordsville, Montgomery Co., Indiana, in May 1936. School: Crawsfordsville High School. Photo of my dad taken in 1937. This picture was cropped from a larger group photo. Hartley graduated at West Lafayette, Tippecanoe Co., Indiana, in May 1940. Institution: Purdue University. Hartley's occupation: Chemical engineer with The Presto-Lite company later become Linde, a Division of Union Carbide.

Hartley worked for Presto-Lite until the United States was brought into World War II when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, at which point he entered the Army. Hartley served in the Pacific Theater during the war, and left the Army with the rank of Major, and won the Bronze Star.

After getting discharged from the Army, Hartley returned to work for Presto-Lite. In 1959 he was transferred to Tonawanda, New York. While in Tonawanda he was sent to work on a project in Brazil in 1969. He was also involved with designing and building a liquid transfer pump for the launch pad of the Apollo moon shot, Complex 39.

In 1971 Union Carbide sent him to Australia for a work project. And in 1973 he was transferred back to Indianapolis to work at the plant that he had originally started his career at. On 1 June 1983 he retired from Union Carbide. At Presto-Lite, Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana, in November 1940. Hartley traveled in 1941. Hartley reported for active duty at Ft. Monroe, Virginia, on 11 March 1942. He was decorated while serving in the military at Philippines in January 1945. He was released from active duty at Camp Atterbury, Bartholomew Co., Indiana, on 18 December 1945. He resided at Speedway, Marion Co., Indiana, in 1946, at 1708 Norfolk. Hartley bought his first house around the time he got married. Before they could close on the house however Hartley and Margaret lived with her mother for about a month after getting married and before moving into their own home.

In 1951 he added two rooms onto this house and widened the garage. In 1958 he added three feet to the living room.. He moved on 6 January 1959 at Tonawanda, Erie Co., New York. Hartley retired at Union Carbide, Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana, on 1 June 1983. He died on 24 November 2006 at Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana, at age 88.
