William was born at
Co. Antrim, Ireland, on 3 March 1785. He was the son of
Robert Fee and
Isabella Hays. He married
Elizabeth Ferguson Orr at
Chester Co., South Carolina, in 1810. William Fee was church membership on 7 September 1833 at
Monroe Co., Indiana; Was ordained as elder of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Bloomington on September 7, 1833. William Fee was the first and until May 10, 1834 the only elder of the congregation and was been called the "Father of the United Presbyterian Church" in Monroe Co. William was listed as the head of a family on the 1850 Census at
Bloomington Twp., Monroe Co., Indiana. William was listed as the head of a family on the 1860 Census at
Bloomington Twp., Monroe Co., Indiana. William was listed as the head of a family on the 1870 Census at
Bloomington Twp., Monroe Co., Indiana. William died on 24 January 1876 at
Indiana at age 90. His body was interred in January 1876 at
Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana, at United Presbyterian Cemetery.
