Gaston of Chester, by Chalmers Gaston Davidson 929.273.G219d in FHL in Salt Lake City. Jennet was born at Co. Antrim, Ireland, in 1730. She was the daughter of William Gaston and Olivet Lemon. She married Charles Strong at Ireland circa 1750. In Charles Strong's will, Jennet was named by Charles to handle his estate on 20 July 1781 at Kershaw Co., South Carolina. Jennet died on 20 April 1801 at Fairfield Co., South Carolina. Her body was interred in 1801 at Fairfield Co., South Carolina, at Gladney Cemetery. Jennet's tombstone reads:

Sacred To the memory of Jennet Strong wife of Charles Strong who departed this life April 28th 1801 aged 75 years.
