Samuel was born at
South Carolina on 24 July 1802. He was the son of
Aaron Gordon and
Ann Glenn. He married

Monroe Co., Indiana, on 17 July 1832. Samuel was listed as the head of a family on the 1840 Census at
Monroe Co., Indiana. Samuel was listed as the head of a family on the 1850 Census at
Perry Twp., Monroe Co., Indiana. Samuel was listed as the head of a family on the 1860 Census at
Perry Twp., Monroe Co., Indiana. Samuel Gordon is said to have been part of the "Underground Railroad." He married

Perry Twp., Monroe Co., Indiana. Samuel died on 4 April 1887 at age 84. His body was interred in April 1887 at
