James was born at
Darby, Delaware Co., Pennsylvania, on 1 February 1838. He was the son of
Jonathan Heacock and
Rebecca R. Roberts. James Huston Heacock began military service on 9 August 1862. He married
Louisa Alisabeth Marker at
Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania, on 10 March 1864. James Huston Heacock was migration in 1877 at
Lyon Co., Kansas; moved to Lyon Co., Kansas in 1877. He was census 1880 in 1880 at
Olpe, Lyon Co., Kansas. James was listed as the head of a family on the 1900 Census at
Center Twp., Lyon Co., Kansas. He was census 1910 in 1910 at
Olpe, Lyon Co., Kansas. He died on 20 July 1917 at
Emporia, Lyon Co., Kansas, at age 79. He was buried on 22 July 1917 at
Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Olpe, Lyon Co., Kansas.
