Susan Knaub was born on 22 December 1854. She was the daughter of
John Knaub. She married
Emanuel Dellinger at
York Co., Pennsylvania, on 12 July 1881. Susan Knaub died on 30 April 1949 at
Wrightsville, York Co., Pennsylvania, at age 94. She was New Tag Obituary from a York newspaper:
"DELLINGER - On April 30, 1949, at 6:45 p.m. at the residence of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Curvin Fake, Wrightsville, R.D. 1, near East Prospect, Susan Dellinger, age 94 years, 4 months and 8 days.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Purd A. Riedel Funeral home Dallastown on Wednesday, May 4 at 2 p.m. D.S.T. Interment in Mt. Zion cemetery.
Friends may call at the Riedel Funeral home Tuesday evening from 7 to 9."

"Mrs. Susan Dellinger, 94,
Dies Near East Prospect
East Prospect - Mrs. Susan Dellinger, died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday at the residence of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Curvin Fake, Wrightsville RD 1, near this place, in her 95th years. She had been ill for only a short time.
Survivors include Mrs. Fake, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two step-daughters, Mrs. Charles Leber, Yorkana, and Mrs. Fannie Luckenbaugh, Harrisburg, and two step-sons, Edward Dellinger, Hallam, and George Dellinger, Manchester.
Rev. Richard Shaffer, of Hallam, will conduct funeral services at the Purd A. Riedel Funeral home Dallastown, at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery."

Rev. Richard Sheffer, pastor of Kreutz Creek Reformed charge, officiated. Serving as pallbearers were, James, Jesse and George Knaub, Lloyd Lentz, Lavere Leibhart and Nathaniel Fake. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery."
