George Orval Shigley in October 1956. Alma died on 20 June 1997 at

Alma Shigley "Alma Shigley, 87, of Bloomington, died Friday at Bloomington Convalescent Center. Born Jan. 24, 1910 in Alabama, she was the daughter of James J. and Mary Jane (Davison) Lambert. She had worked as a cook at the Indiana Memorial Union and attended Clear Creek Christian Church. Survivors include one daughter, Charlotte Dixon of Bloomington; one sister, Mary Harper of Gadsden, Ala; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Shigley, in 1968; two brothers, Howard M. Lambert and Clayton Lambert; and two sisters, Ida Mae Lackey and Rosie Rodgers. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday at Clear Creek Cemetery with Pastor Larry Mitchell officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at Day Mortuary." On 22 June 1997 at
