She married Edward Barton Dellinger at Towson, Baltimore Co., Maryland, on 9 July 1932. Edith died on 9 December 1983 at York Co., Pennsylvania, at age 69. She was New Tag Obituary from the Saturday 10 December 1983 York Dispatch:

"Mrs. Edith Dellinger

Mrs. Edith F. Dellinger, 68, of York RD 11, died Friday at her home.

She was the wife of the late Edward B. Dellinger.

Born in York County, Mrs. Dellinger was the daughter of the late Emory and Ellen Shelly McKinley.

She was a retired employee of Cole Steel.

Survivors include:

Two sons - Edward A. Dellinger, York RD 11, and Fred V. Dellinger, Lancaster RD 6.

Two daughters - Mrs. Jane Reever and Mrs. Charlotte Schulgen, both of Tehachapi, Calif.

Three brothers - Nelson McKinley, York; Charles McKinley, York RD 7; and Maynard McKinley, Los Angeles, Calif.

Three sisters - Edna Strine, York; Helen Gotwalt, Downey, Calif; and Hazel Cunningham, York.

Fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Druck Valley United Methodist Church, Druck Valley Road, York RD 11. The Rev. Michael Gingerich will offiated.
