Henry Mohler was born on 13 October 1838 at
Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania. He was the son of
Allen Mohler and
Elizabeth Kurtz. Henry Mohler married
Rebecca Ellen Dellinger, daughter of
Daniel D. Dellinger and
Catherine Urich, on 12 November 1868. Henry Mohler died on 10 September 1912 at
Frankfort, Clinton Co., Indiana, at age 73. He was New Tag From the 11 Sept. 1912 Frankfort, Indiana News:
"Veteran Called in H. Mohler's Death
Henry Mohler, a pioneer citizen of Clinton county, died at his home 7?2 East Walnut street at 6:30 last evening. He was past 73 years old. Death was due to a complication of diseases with which he had been suffering for about six months.
Mr. Mohler had resided in Clinton county since he was 11 years old, coming here with his parents. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Mohler and was born on October 13, 1838, in the state of Pennsylvania. He was engaged in the occupation of farming until a few years ago when he retired and moved to Frankfort. He was a veteran of the civil war and a member of local G.A.R. Mr. Mohler enlisted at Stockwell and served in Company I, 86th Indiana volunteers. He was married on November 12, 1868 to Miss Rebecca Dellinger, who survives with seven children. They are: Mrs. Lula Bringham, Marionville, Missouri; Mrs. Ada Miller, Corrydon, Indiana; Clyde Mohler, Miami, Florida; Harry Mohler, of Marionville, Missouri; Burton Mohler, of Marionville; Mrs. Josie Parsons, and Mrs. Stella Hasenbiler of Monticello, Ind. One half brother, Daniel Mohler of Cerro Gordo, Ill, and a half sister, Miss Ella Mohler of Michigantown are the other relatives.
Arrangements have not been completed for the funeral." On 11 September 1912 at
