Ronald E. Nye was born on 21 November 1932 at
Lemoyne, Pennsylvania. He was the son of
Edward A. Nye and
Ruth A. Wilson. Ronald E. Nye died on 10 March 2003 at
Mechanicsburg, Cumberland Co., Pennsylvania, at age 70. He was New Tag Obituary from the 11 March 2003 Patriot-News:

Ronald E. Nye, 70, of Mechanicsburg, died Monday, March 10, 2003, at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born November 21, 1932 in Lemoyne, he was a son of the late Edward A. and Ruth A. Wilson Nye.
He retired as Vice President of sales with Pennsy Supply, Harrisburg after forty years of service; was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mechanicsburg; and an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are his wife, Josephine Rock Nye; two daughters, Ruth A. Carrera of Enola and Kathleen M. Coen of Bucyrus, KS; a son, Michael J. Nye of Mechanicsburg; three step-sons, Timothy Yeakle of Shiremanstown, Christopher T. Yeakle of Grove City and Scott K. Yeakle of Middletown; nine grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a step-great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at Malpezzi Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, with the Rev. Donald J. Ciampa officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
