"Mrs. Moffett, whose sickness has been noted, died yesterday morning at 8 o'clock. Typhoid fever was the trouble. Her death occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Aaron Gordon, south of the city. She was also the mother of Mrs. Jno. Reed. Mrs. Moffett was a most excellent christian woman, and has many friends who will mourn her death. She was a faithful member of the U.P. Church."
On 30 September 1890 at Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana. Her body was interred in 1890 at Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana, at United Presbyterian Cemetery.
