     Frederick Voltz was born on 3 March 1765 at Shenandoah Co., Virginia. He was the son of Johann Martin Voltz and Anna Margaretha (?). Frederick Voltz married Anna Sabina "Hannah" Hanger, daughter of Johan Peter Hanger Sr. and Anna Sabina "Hannah" Gabbert, on 9 May 1792 at Augusta Co., Virginia. Frederick Voltz died on 9 October 1843 at Augusta Co., Virginia, at age 78. He was buried in October 1843 at Virginia; When Frederick died, he was buried on a family cemetery on his son David's farm outside of Staunton. However when the Thornrose Cemetery opened in about 1850, his body was reintered there.
