The 1851 census of Edwardsburgh has three Duclow or Dukelow families, possibly brothers.

1.    Charles Dukelow age 39 a sailor born Ireland, Ann Dukelow (maiden name Newman) age 35 born Cork
Children all born Canada - Jane, 11; Elizabeth, 8; Joseph, 6; Charles, 4;
Mary A, 2 and Margaret aged 1.  Charles owned 15 acres of land in Con. 1 Lot 28.

Jane Dukelow married James Connell

Mary Ann Dukelow married Jacob McGuire.

Margueritte Dukelow married unknown Gray

After Ann Newman died Mary Ann Dukelow was adopted by her mother's brother Joseph Newman:

3.    James Duclow age 30 Farmer born Ire. and wife Margaret Duclow (maiden name Whitley) age 32
Children all born Canada- Joseph, 5; Margaret, 3; Peter, 1 and Elizabeth
age 8
