By some accounts, Benjamin Russell’s
big brother Joseph followed the example of
their pioneer parents
by producing, with his wife Mary Belcher, just short
of a dozen children.
Of whom two daughters, our 1C10R Abigail and Prudence, contracted marriages that connect us with some wonderfully historic folks. |

 Abigail Russell, daughter of our Uncle (10GU) Joseph Russell became the wife of Matthew Bridge, Esq., a principal founder of the Town of Lexington. |
