Uncle (10GU) Philip Russell (Phillip on his gravestone) lies next to his wife Iohana Cutler Russell, (Johanna in other texts) near the original entrance to Lexington’s Old Burial Ground. Their sector of the ground is the principal resting place in Lexington not only for pioneering Russells, but also for Bridges, Munroes, and various others of our kin. A son of Philip and Iohana, yet another William Russell, lies nearby, also in Lexington. |
