Munroe Family (Chart 2 of 2)

The first generation of settlers in Hillsborough included, prominently, three Munroe first cousins, each buried with spouse here, and each the child of one of the sons of “Corporal Joe” Munroe and his wife Elizabeth: Joseph and Hannah Munroe’s son Doctor Joseph, Joshua and Ruth Munroe’s son Thaddeus, and Nathan and Mercy Munroe’s daughter Hepzibah.

Of Doctor Joseph’s descendants, I’ve identified only grandson Ransom in the burying ground. Thaddeus and his wife Hannah, on the other hand, are represented by no fewer than ten descendants or spouses thereof, as shown here. Hepzibah’s six, our nearest kin, are detailed here. People shown in GRAY are buried elsewhere and appear here for the sake of context.
