Leola and Myrle
Leola’s friendships, like the Jordan River in the old hymn, ran deep and wide. Also long. And they extended beyond her immediate family in many directions. Here’s teenaged Leola, on the right; we’re reasonably sure that’s her lifelong friend, Myrle Roberts, at her side, and that by the time of this shot, the Seelys had moved from Rosette to Brigham City. There may be nobody now living with the knowledge to refine these notions.
