Christmas 1967
back Christmas 1967 next
In Paris, folks got to know Duane’s slide camera, but he lacked a darkroom or time to use it.

So, for her last mortal Christmas, Leola hand- wrote seasonal greetings on Paris note-paper (printed downstairs, by the Mission Printer). This one came back to us from whatever “Dear Friends” (we’ve lost track of which ones) she blessed with it.

The stationery reflects her setting in Paris. It’s profoundly comforting to read how very happy she was to have us there for Christmas.
