To achieve “election” to membership in the Massachusetts and General Societies of Mayflower Descendants, I had to complete this three-page application, documenting each entry to the Society’s satisfaction. For that and a hundred-dollar fee I now have the privilege of annual membership (dues $45 per annum), and some really distinguished publications. And this certificate.
