If any Munroe artifact has survived the intervening three-plus centuries, it would probably be the fieldstone wall delimiting a field.

I don’t know how many different owners this land may have gone through, but until recently it was apparently farmland. We’re free to fantasize that William the Immigrant and his sons may have dragged these very boulders (the ones among the trees, in the mid-ground) to their present locations. Hard to prove, but not really implausible.
