This is our distinguished pioneer ancestor, born in New Hampshire to Oliver III and Hannah Ashby Wheeler, and buried here as the senior wife of Brigham Young’s faithful and longsuffering younger brother, Lorenzo Dow Young.

Before her marriage to Dow, she bore six children to our great-great-great-grandfather Isaac Decker, whose resting place is the final stop in this visit. Two of the six, our aunts Clara Decker Young and Fannie Maria Decker Little also lie in the City Cemetery and on our itinerary.

Grandma Harriet brought our Plantagenet line to Utah.
