The Seely Family, Christmas 1941 |
We also observed my first Christmas with Mammy’s family, the descendants of Grandpa Arta McLean Seely and Grandma Alfaretta Neff Seely. This was the next-to-last Christmas of Grandma’s life; so, my memories of her are of the fuzziest. She’s sorta front-row center here, largely concealed by my curly-haired cousin Jacki; I’m looking dour, on Mammy’s lap near the upper right.
I think this was taken in the living room of the grandparental abode on 4th West in Brigham City. Pappy, often the designated shutterbug, is at top left; wonder who was behind the camera… The next page identifies everybody in the picture. |
