Convict record of Richard Terry (the elder)

  1. Richard Terry was tried at Aylesbury Assizes on 9 March 1844 and sentenced to transportation for life for rape
  2. Gaol Report: first conviction, widower, two children. Stated this offence, aiding and abetting in a rape ( Ann Pepper). 2 months for an assault
  3. Terry arrived at Norfolk Island per Agincourt on 9 November 1844. He came to Van Diemens Land in 1847.
