Edward was born in 1882 in Thornborough, Buckinghamshire, the son of Thomas Dillow and Harriet Smith.[Note 1]

He died on 14 OCT 1918 in Belgium.

His wife was Annie Wood, who he married on 15 NOV 1908 in Tingewick, Buckinghamshire. Their only known child was Marjory Violet (c1910->1911).
