and the granddaughter of
(6) Joseph Cornelius Sear (1872-1927) and (7) Ethel Gladys Hazel Dangerfield (1883-1954) who married in Woodside, Surrey, in 1906.

and the great-granddaughter of
(12) Thomas Sear (1839-1881+) and (13) Mary Brooks (1841-1881+) (marriage not yet found.)

Thomas Sear was a Publican in Tingewick at the time of Joseph's baptism in 1872 - in 1869 he was recorded in the Post Office Directory as an "Innkeeper and tailor" at the Royal Oak. By 1881 he was again a "Tailor and Innkeeper" in Mursley - having, in the meantime, presumably plied his trade in Aylesbury as son Edward was born there in 1877!
