(26) Daniel Cripps and Elizabeth Beckett m. 1849 at Cottisford, Oxfordshire

"Emanuel went on to marry Dorothy Mary TUFFNELL of St. Paul's Walden Herts (b1887). They wed in the December qtr 1916. He was awarded the BEM in 1918 for saving a fellow worker in an explosion and fire at a munitions factory in Dumfries. We have a letter from Buckingham Palace to document this. Dorothy died Feb 14 1973 in Derby. We have not found his death at this time."
