Summary


This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Holton of Tingewick in the County of Bucks Dealer who am of sound and understanding I Give devise and bequeath All my copyhold hereditaments and premises in Tingewick aforesaid (which I have already surrendered to the use of my will) and also all my personal estate whatsoever remaining after payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses unto my friends William Scott of Tingewick aforesaid Farmer and William Fowler of Tingewick aforesaid Baker their heirs executors administrators and assignees [inserted Upon trust that they] do and shall in the first place absolutely sell and dispose of all and singular my copyhold hereditaments ..... money that can be obtained for the same such sale to take place in one year after my decease, and I hereby direct that the receipt of my said trustees or trustee for the time being for such purchase money shall be a good and off----t C discharge to the purchaser or purchasers and do and shall stand possession of such purchase [inserted: "money"] together with all my said personal estate and employ the same in such way and manner as to my said trusstees or trustee shall appear most proper and advantagous in and toward the [crossed out: bringing up] maintenance of my wife and all and every my children for and during the life of my said wife, and after her decease equally to divide and pay the same unto all and every of my children whom and as they shall respectively attain the age of twenty one years And I hereby nominate and appoint the said William Scott and William Fowler Executors in trust of this my last will and testament In witness whereof I hereto set my hand and seal the nineteent day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twelve.
