Will of David Tinling of Ash

 

I David Tinling of Ash in the parish of Kirklinton & County of Cumberland yeoman being weak of Body yet of perfect memory & seeing that it is appointed for all Men to die therefore I think fitt to leave the Effects I have in Manner & Force [?] following First I leave unto Jane Warwick my Granddaughter the Sum of Ten pounds & likewise I leave unto Eleanor Tinling my Daughter four Cows and two young Bulls & three three [sic] Heiffers and all the insight [?] in my new dwelling a house & likewise I leave my Grandson Daniell Tinling Children Mary Richard and Henry each of them equal shares of all the rest of my Effects & Moveables which [?] were provided my daughter Eleanor shall pay ______ death and funeral Expences leaving [?] this to be my Last Will and Testament __ being [?] ___ing all former wills & Testamenst.  In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 27th day of April ______ in the year of our Lord 1743 David Tinling his Mark  Witnessed by John Calvert ----- John Irwin ------ proved May the 7th 1743.
