Will of Isaac Pattison Tinling
This is the Last Will and Testament of me Isaac Pattison Tinling Lieutenant Colonel of His Majestys ffirst ffoot Guards Whereby I commend my Soul to God and dispose of all my Worldly Estate and Effects in manner following that is to say all and singular my ready money Stocks funds and securities for money debts out and owing unto me Household Goods and furniture plate Linen and China and all the rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate and Effects of every degree and denomination whatever that I shall be possessed of interested in or any ways is entitled unto at the time of my decease after payment of my just debts funeral expenses and the costs of proving this my Will and the expenses incidentally attending the execution thereof I give and bequeath to my dear and beloved wife Mary Ann to aid for her own use and benefit and I do hereby nominate and appoint her my said Wife sole Executrix of this my Will and I do hereby revoke and make void all former and other Wills by me made and declare this only to be and contain my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 7th day of July in the year of our Lord 1809 – I.P. Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Isaac Pattison Tinling the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament upon the day of the date in the presence of us was in his presence and at his request have subscribed our names as Witnesses Rn Hart – Solicitor, Portsea, W. Tinling, Buckland.
Proved at London 9th July 1825 before the Worshipful Joseph Phillimore Dr. of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of Mary Anne Tinling Widow the Relict the sole Executrix to whom admon was granted being first sworn duly to administer.
