Family Group 22

Douglas E Osborne

Caution, Warning, Disclaimer:  The ancestral lines shown below are the ancestors that each project member, highlighted in yellow, BELIEVES to be their ancestors.  Standards of proof or evidence used by each member may vary, and documentation for each ancestor may vary. These listings alone should not be taken as proof of ancestry; they are shown here to facilitate the finding of a common ancestor by project members or by others who may wish to test to see if their ancestral lines connect to one of the members.  For more information, please contact the individual members at the email addresses listed below.

At the present time, Douglas is the only person in this family group.  For the 12-marker test, the genetic distances are 1 to Joseph W Osborne and Felipe Osborne Shea which would normally be taken as “Possibly Related”.  However, both the 25- and 37-marker tests show that he is not related to anyone else in the project at the present time.  (Another case where the higher level tests overruled the 12-marker test.)  Joseph W Osborne is the closest on these higher level tests, but the distances would indicate that he is not related to them within thousands of years.  Below is what we have on Douglas’ ancestors.
