WB10 - Thurmaston By-Pass, Thurmaston, c1961.
Thurmaston By-Pass was newly opened in 1961. Its building effectively
separated the newer houses in the parish from the old heart of the village.
In this view, looking northwards, the by-pass road carries only a few
vehicles, a far cry from the stream of traffic that the A607 road carries
today. On the right of the picture is Wayside Drive.
