Dr. C. P. Merriwether, of Little Rock, the secretary of the State Medical Society, now in session in this city, which office he has held for the past eight years. He is also secretary of the board of the Tuberculosis Hospital at Booneville, and has been elected several times a delegate to the American Medical Society. He is also on the Reserve Corps, of the U. S. Army, standing ready for a call. In each and every one of these positions he has filled the same with credit and distinction. He is a native of Arkansas, and was for thirteen years located in Walnut Ridge, where he practiced his profession. Since locating in Little Rock, where he had a broader field, he has made a splendid record both as a citizen and physician.
