STANSFIELD Jackson
William Law, the son of Elijah Law, a shoemaker, completed an apprenticeship to become a machine maker, working and living on Dale Street in Todmorden. In 1891, his pregnant daughter CLARA LAW was murdered by her sweetheart John William Halstead at Dale Street Co-op.
